Owner, CEO and Head Coach
Lorraine brings a rare combination of career coaching expertise, human resources experience, and a deeply personal understanding of career transition. Before founding Career UpRising, she served as a Director and Regional Trainer at Jenny Craig and worked in HR and recruiting for firms throughout the DC/VA area.
After navigating multiple career transitions and layoffs herself, Lorraine founded Career UpRising in 2015 with a mission to help mid and late career professionals find not just a job — but the right career. Her unique methodology has helped over 500+ clients across dozens of industries including Microsoft, Amazon, Fannie Mae, Coca-Cola, and IBM.
Lorraine holds a M. S. in Human Resources Management and is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC), and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Chief Technical Officer
Ron is the software engineer and technology architect behind Career UpRising's digital infrastructure. As Lorraine's business partner, he designed and built the platform's website, client portal, and all underlying technology systems — allowing Lorraine to focus entirely on client coaching.
Ron brings a diverse technical and professional background spanning aviation, government, and cybersecurity. He holds an ATP Certificate as a Commercial Airline Pilot and is a Licensed Flight Instructor, Certified Open Water Diver, and Licensed Ham Radio Operator.
